This compact, 46-page travel guide, written in English and German, is a collection of Kent's favorite airfields, aviation museums and other aeronautical sites around Lake Constance, all suited to day trips from Friedrichshafen, home to the Lake's two most famous native sons, Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin and Professor Claudius Dornier. In the 1980s Kent was employed as an aerodynamicist at Dornier's development center in Immenstaad on the shores of Lake Constance, where he met his future wife, Ulrike (Ulli) Schmaeling in 1981. Since then the two have made frequent trips back to the region, where Kent enjoys seeking out the many sites that are described in this booklet. It includes the best-of-the-best of these in twenty different locations for aviation enthusiasts, and provides suggestions for other attractions that will please the entire family. A brief English-German dictionary of aeronautical terms is included, as is a list of all airfields and aviation museums in the region. Order your copies here.  (Includes discounts for multiple copies are available here. For orders exceeding 250 copies, contact the author for special pricing.)
